Product Details
This is a general-use high flow fuel pump, not a direct plug-and-play swap in most applications.
AEMโs 380lph and 400lph High Flow, High Pressure Fuel Pumps are engineered for high performance naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles. These pumps are designed to meet the needs of serious horsepower builds and deliver industry-leading flow at high pressures. Both pumps utilize the popular โ044 Styleโ physical configuration, making them ideal for new installations or as high-performance replacements for existing 044-style fuel pumps.
The 380lph High Flow Fuel Pump (PN 50-1005) features -10 AN female inlet and -6 AN female outlet ORB (O-ring port fitting) connections. It flows 380 lph (100 gph) at 43 PSI, 340 lph (90 gph) at 73 PSI, and 270 lph (71 gph) at 120 PSI. It can be installed externally or in-tank using optional hardware (sold separately), and supports over 1,200 HP naturally aspirated and 1,075 HP at 30 PSI boost when using gasoline. It is recommended for gasoline use; alcohol fuels such as E85 can be used but may shorten pump life.
The 400lph Metric High Flow Inline Fuel Pump (PN 50-1009) is a high-output direct replacement upgrade for 044 pump users. It features an M18X1.5 female inlet and M12x1.5 male outlet. It flows 400 lph (105 gph) at 40 PSI, 340 lph (90 gph) at 73 PSI, and 270 lph (71 gph) at 120 PSI. This pump is compatible with Flex Fuel (E85/E90) and all types of gasoline, though continuous use of 100% alcohol fuels may reduce pump life. It supports over 1,200 HP naturally aspirated and 860 HP at 30 PSI boost.
Both pumps are tested individually to verify minimum flow rates, and both include a check valve fitting, terminal nuts, terminal boots, and installation instructions. Optional accessories (sold separately) for the 380lph pump include a -10 ORB inlet pre-filter for in-tank use and -6/-8 AN discharge adapters without check valves. The 400lph pump is supplied with fittings that match metric fuel system setups.

Power ratings are based on gasoline usage, 13.5v at the pump, and a base fuel pressure of 43 PSI. 380lph pump power support assumes BSFC of 0.5; 400lph pump assumes BSFC of 0.65. Boost pressure is added to base pressure. Actual horsepower support depends on system voltage, amperage, and fuel line diameter.
Your vehicleโs factory wiring may not be sufficient for the current demands of these high flow pumps. Refer to the installation instructions for proper electrical requirements.
