]]>TEIN Flex Z coilovers have an awesome twin tube internal system that gives you one of the best street rides from any coilovers. In addition, the full length height adjustment system enables you to lower the car to the max allowable level and still maintain the same shock travel and ride quality.
TEIN Flex Z coilovers are 16 way dampening adjustable (compression and rebound together) so you can made the ride stiffer or softer depending on what sort of ride quality you are wanting. For example, you can set the dampening to a low setting for when you are daily driving the car and set it up to a stiffer setting for track days or spirited driving.
These coilovers include upper mounts for each installation. Each kit comes with either reinforced rubber upper mount or a pillowball upper mount. Pillow ball upper mounts are for strut suspensions and include front camber adjustment.

High-Performance Damper Oil – Since TEIN’s damper oil maintains a stable viscosity in a broad temperature range, it sustains smooth stroke and reliable damping force in a variety of circumstances. Due to excellent anti-foaming properties, it’s resistant to cavitation (bubble forming). Since it withstands high heat too, it’s suitable for intense sport driving as well. Furthermore, the damper oil keeps up its superior performance long-term, because it’s resistant to deterioration over time.
Rust-Proofing – A bright TEIN-green powder paint is used on the shock absorber’s shell case. Our powder coating technique produces an extremely strong and durable barrier. No harmful organic solvents are used, for minimal pollution. Superior durability and corrosion resistance are achieved by TEIN’s patented 2-Layer, 1-Bake powder coating method, which uses 2 layers of anti-rust paint on a blasted surface.

Any hard driven car with generate a lot of heat within its braking system. This heat is conducted through the hub to the damper unit. By inverting the oil and gas reservoir the oil and gas is moved away from the hub assembly . This reduces the amount of conducted heat being transferred from the braking system to the hub then to the damper and then on to the gas and oil. As the oil and gas is heated its properties change which has a knock on effect on the damping characteristics of the suspension. By keeping the gas and oil temperatures down BC Racing RM coilovers keep damping rates more consistent resulting in better performing suspension and ultimately allowing you to corner faster, which is the bottom line.
